Wow - The kids that vowed to stay together are no more...that's right boys n girls, Kappalanche have parted ways. We hear Dave Bains is with XSV but no other moves are official yet. Talking of XSV, did they just lose Nicky Cuba to Dynasty? The same Nicky Cuba who kept getting 1-4-1'd against Dynasty all season? The Nicky Cuba who seemed to have a one-man smack war with Dynasty? That Nicky Cuba?
What else? Well, the RL to DYE reporting was premature. SP is still in the race and we hear Evil's interest is far from dead.
On a more general note, we're hearing a fair few teams are a little worried about tha PSP expanding to six events. With that and the increase of entry fees to $5K, the league is painfully expensive. One top Pro captain predicted that each event would cost him $15,000! The division will be so uber-competitive that a lot of teams - a lot of very good teams - really have no chance of competing. So, when a top team is looking at events saying, "We can't expect to win, we could well go 2-and-out, but we know we will spend $15K..." Well, you can fill in tha blanks yourselves.
Interesting times ahead...
